I will miss my Friend

April 14, 2007
I choose today to honour Louie by celebrating his life rather than mourning his death. Louie would be pleased, I'm sure. Knowing him will appreciate the idea.

Louie was a good man, a brother and a good father. He has immense intelligence and impeccable character whose self-confidence was superseded only by his compassion for the human condition and his passion to help.

To those opposed to him, he offered quiet respect. To my knowledge, he never turned a friend or an acquaintance in need of an honest favor away.

I tell you, he help me in so many ways. Every time we have a get together at my house, I want him to be there at first. And you know what his first question was? “you need help huh”? He will not disappoint you he will come and calm you down.

If there aren't many people here today, that would be understandable. Louie was well-loved and well-respected by his many friends like you, his family and specially his daughter. Aimee

Soaring above all mediocrity, he was a light and inspiration for all who had the blessing to make themselves his friends His talents bloomed everywhere he set his touch, from a big brother, to an architect and a friend.

To have soared to such lofty heights with so many promises only to leave so many great deeds unaccomplished is a tragedy only God's tears can wash away. I wish God gave us more time what we had with Louie is not enough and it was too short.

I will miss my Friend Louie, and all that I can say about him is that he never caused any of his friends any grief, just once, when he left us, few days ago.
He leaves behind a bereaved daughter, a tearful friend, and thousands of grieving friends.

Thank you to all of you. You showed me who is Louie. I thought I know more about him but now, I learned even more who is Louie… just because you all showed up to see him.
All of us here today loved him at some time. Some will called him Son, Brother, Father, a Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, Nong-Ning, Friend or just plain golf buddy. Most of all Louie was his own man. he never did anything he didn't WANT to do.

Whether you knew him for a short time or a lifetime, he always left a lasting impression, even if it was just his laughing eyes. When he smiled one could love or forgive him for almost anything.
I am sure Louie shall always and forever feel gratitude for your wonderful gestures and the love you have shown to him and to his family.

Louie, you remain in my heart and wait for me or us and on that day comes, we will play golf again. Wishing you peace, at last you home. I love you!
Your Friend,
Joas
